Other than set forth above, Swift hereby disclaims all warranties, expressed or implied, of fitness for a particular purpose.

For all warranty repairs or service requests, please call the Swift repair department at (877) 967-9438 before anything is shipped. This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights which vary from state to state.

*For customers living outside the United States, Swift Optical Instruments, Inc. will provide standard warranty service. However, inbound & outbound shipping costs (including duties and taxes) are the responsibility of the consumer.

90-DAY LIMITED WARRANTY: Same as limited lifetime warranty above, but for 90 days.
1-YEAR LIMITED WARRANTY: Same as limited lifetime warranty above, but for 1 year.
3-YEAR LIMITED WARRANTY: Same as limited lifetime warranty above, but for 3 years.

90-DAY LIMITED WARRANTY: Software

Our Swift Basics microscopes are manufactured to meet ISO 9001 standards. The warranty for the Swift Basics line is as follows:

  • 5-YEAR WARRANTY FOR MICROSCOPES: Microscopes come with a five (5) year warranty against manufacturing defects.  Does not cover normal wear and tear, routine maintenance, add-on accessories, and damages resulting from repair by unauthorized parties, accident, alteration, shipping, misuse, and/or abuse.

    1-YEAR LIMITED WARRANTY FOR ELECTRICAL AND VIDEO COMPONENTS: Does not cover light bulbs, batteries, fuses, or electrical cords.

All warranties start from the original date of purchase. Swift provides the repair or replacement of warrantied parts for free, including labor, during the warranty period. Proof of original purchase is required. Buyers are responsible for shipping to and from our warehouse for warranty services. Warranty service is provided by Swift Optical Instruments, Inc.’s authorized technicians. Determination of warranty is at the technician’s discretion.
